Chris Anderson demos the anticipated new platform, TED-Ed, which allows teachers to upload their best lessons to be turned into animated videos for students. TED-Ed also employs flip teaching, so that any teacher may “flip” a lesson and make it their own….
After the Red Wings couldn’t keep the puck in their offensive zone, Nashville took advantage of the ensuing rush, as a tip from up high beat Jimmy Howard to give the Predators the 2-1 lead a little more than halfway through the second period.
Gabriel Bourque tipped Matt Halischuk’s shot from the point at 12:29, putting Nashville ahead.
The Predators came out hot after the goal, running around all over the place. That cost them, as Martin Erat took a roughing penalty in all the madness, sending the Red Wings back to the power play, where they’ll look to repeat their success of earlier in the period.
The 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs started yesterday. The top 16 teams in the National Hockey League (@nhl) made the cut and will battle over the next two months until one team is declared the Stanley Cup champion.
